Hurricane and tropical storm watches have been issued for portions Honduras and Nicaragua.

This, as Potential Tropical Storm Nineteen continues to strengthen in the western Caribbean Sea.

The National Hurricane Centre says it is forecast to become a tropical storm on Thursday and continue strengthening as it moves near the coast of Central America.

Once a storm, it will be known as Sara.

On the forecast track, the center of this system is expected to move across the western Caribbean Sea and slow as it nears the coast of Central America.

This system poses no direct threat to T&T.
