A Mayaro man has appeared in court over the murder 20-year-old Renaldo Heminez in December 2023.

27-year-old Brandon Baptiste, also known as Posh and Posh Corbeau, of St Ann’s Village had his matter adjourned to February 28th, 2024 when he stood before a judge on Tuesday.

He is also charged with firearm and ammunition possession.

On December 23rd 2023, Heminez was walking along the roadway in Mayaro when he was approached by a gunman who fired a single, fatal shot.

A male suspect was arrested on January 17th, 2024.
