Operations at the Port of Port of Spain have been impacted after workers walked off the job yesterday.

Workers are reportedly upset over a number of issues including health and safety concerns and stalled wage talks.

The Port, via a media release, says it is operating at limited capacity due to unavailability of the full complement of labour.

In its latest update at 3pm yesterday, it noted that the areas of the Port with no operations are Vessel Operations and West Gate Operations – Receipt and Delivery of Full and Empty Containers.

It committed to providing further updates on all developments with the situation.
