Nicholas Pooran has reached the 2,000 run milestone in the Indian Premier League.
Today, Pooran struck a powerful 87 not out for the Lucknow Super Giants against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders.
The knock consisted of 36 balls, with seven fours and eight sixes.
To date Pooran has scored 2,057 runs in 78 innings at an average of 34.86 and a strike rate of 168.88, with 12 half-centuries.
He is now the second fastest batsman to 2,000 IPL runs in 1,198 balls, behind Andre Russell who made the milestone in 1,120 balls.
