It was a day of mixed fortunes for the men and women Trinbago Knight Riders.

First, the Women TKR were bowled out for 72 against the Guyana Amazon Warriors in a do-or-die group game.

Karishma Ramharack took 3/12 in a Player of the Match performance at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, before Guyana chased their target in 7.3 overs.

This means Guyana will play the Barbados Royals in the WCPL final from 3:30pm on Sunday.

Then, later in the evening, TKR Men beat Jamaica Tallawahs by seven wickets.

Batting first, Tallawahs were restricted to 154/8 in 20 overs with Ali Khan taking three wickets and Sunil Narine grabbing two.

Then Nicholas Pooran scored 54 and Martin Guptill added 53 not out, as TKR got to 155/3 in 17.2 overs.

Narine, who added 15 from 6 balls with the bat, was named Player of the Match.

TKR next play St Lucia Kings from 8pm on Sunday before CPL action moves to Guyana.
