Political analyst Dr. Indira Rampersad believes the UNC’s recently announced coalition will improve the party’s fortunes at this year’s polls.

Yesterday the UNC announced a Coalition of Interests with the PEP, LOVE Movement, the OWTU and other unions.

103.1FM News spoke with Dr. Rampersad who said she was not surprised by the move.

Dr. Rampersad added the decision augers well for the UNC at the polls.

Meanwhile, Dr Rampersad commented on the political landscape for the upcoming 2025 Election.

She believes while the PNM remains a strong party, several factors are in the UNC’s favour.
