Two stolen vehicles were recovered by police over the weekend.

On Saturday in Eastern Quarry, Laventille they found a silver Subaru Forester which had a registration number that did not match the vehicle.

An examination of the chassis number revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen from Maracas/St Joseph in November.

On Sunday, officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle at Richplain Road, Diego Martin and, on arrival, found a light green Nissan B14 which appeared to have been scrapped.

Checks found that the vehicle was reported stolen from the Central Division earlier this month.
