Police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide in Williamsville.

According to reports, Michael and Sunita Ram returned home at Piparo Junction Road from a bar around 8pm yesterday and began arguing, with the woman being accused of being unfaithful.

Michael is said to have gone to their bedroom, retrieved a shotgun and shot Sunita in the presence of their two adult children who then ran out the house.

Another gunshot was heard a few minutes later, with the children running to a neighbours’ house to call police.

Both Michael and Sunita succumbed to their wounds.
