Three suspects were arrested within minutes of a reported robbery in Debe on Wednesday.

Two victims were accosted by two male suspects who stole a quantity of cash and jewellery before escaping in a Nissan Almera.

The car was subsequently intercepted along the north bound lane of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway in the vicinity of Brentwood Gardens.

Three suspects – ages 19 to 41, of San Juan and Morvant – were arrested and officers also recovered a partially destroyed imitation firearm.

The suspects were wanted in connection with a similar incident in the Central Division.
