Police arrest two and recover stolen tester device

A 40 thousand dollar tester device was recovered by police during a sting operation yesterday, which included the arrest of two suspects.

Officers acted on information that the Tester model DSX500 device, stolen in the St. Joseph district, was being offered for sale at half of its value.

A 38-year-old of Longdenville, Chaguanas who was allegedly with a driver, a 44-year old man from Barataria approached another individual at the Courts compound in Barataria with the device.

They were intercepted by police, and the tester was identified by the owner.

The two alleged offenders, originally from Scarborough, Tobago, were arrested.
