Police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with several house-breaking incidents.
The TTPS says during an Operation Blue Line exercise yesterday, several known drug blocks in Sangre Grande were searched, including Damarie Hill, Walk Street, North Eastern Settlement and Duranta Road.
A 23-year-old man from Gasparillo was arrested for possession of a Tanfoglio pistol, fitted with a magazine containing six rounds of 9mm ammunition.
The suspect was also wanted in connection with several break-ins in the Southern Division.
Also, around 5:30pm yesterday, officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Bypass Road, Arima, where they observed several Venezuelan nationals.
A search of the premises led to the discovery of a Beretta Pistol with nine rounds of ammunition hidden in a chest of drawers.
A 24-year-old Venezuelan woman was held.
Meanwhile, at approximately 6:45am yesterday, officers executed a search warrant at an address on Walcott Lane, Enterprise, Chaguanas.
The found 455 grams of marijuana and four rounds of assorted ammunition.
Two individuals present at the premises, aged 19 and 25, were arrested.
