A 22-year-old Point Fortin man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Tevin Stefon Francois..

Francois’ body was found on June 28th at Mc Kenzie Fields Road, with wounds to his head and face.

Kareem Balgobin appeared in the Point Fortin Magistrates’ Court on August 9th 2023, with the case adjourned to August 21st.

Balgobin is the second person charged in connection with this murder.

Officers previously charged 28-year-old Yunus Ali of Cedros.

Meanwhile, the TTPS says three men were detained on August 4th in connection with the death of 18-year-old Roger Celestine.

The victim was killed and another man wounded during a shooting incident in Paramin on August 3rd.

The accused were due to appear in court today on charges of murder and attempted murder.
