The Point Fortin Desalination Plant has returned to full production.
This follows a cutback earlier today due to high levels of algae bloom at the facility’s intake.
Owned and operated by Seven Seas Water, the plant normally supplies WASA with about 5.5 million gallons per day.
Today’s temporary cutback impacted the Point Fortin/La Brea area and WASA says every effort is being made to normalize the supply to affected persons in the shortest time possible.
