The PNM leadership will hold a meeting on Monday, May 12th, to discuss internal elections for the party.
This will include a recommended date for the elections, which will then be put to the General Council.
This was revealed by PNM Chairman Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly in a media statement in which she also defended the Special General Council sitting in which she was elected to the post.
Held on May 6th, she said the special meeting was duly-convened, presided over and directed by Lady Vice Chairman Camille Robinson-Regis.
The meeting also saw Colm Imbert elected as PNM Vice Chairman.
The statement by Dr Gadsby-Dolly came in response to a statement from a former member of the PNM’s leadership which allegedly alluded to election discrepancies at that Special General Council meeting.
