San Juan should aim for city status – that’s the belief of Dr Muhammed Yunus Ibrahim, the PNM candidate for Barataria/San Juan in the upcoming General Elections.

During an interview on 103.1FM today, Mr Ibrahim said such a development would be beneficial not only to the constituency, but also, the public.

Mr Ibrahim said he also realised during his walkabouts that many persons were unaware of the different social services available to them from the Government.

He added that he will work to bring awareness, visibility and easier access to these.
