PM Young to meet US State Secretary in Jamaica, Colm Imbert to act as PM

Prime Minister Stuart Young and Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Amery Browne will meet for talks with US State Secretary Marco Rubio in Jamaica today.

A release from the Prime Minister’s Office said discussions are expected to focus on U.S. foreign policy and its effect on Trinidad and Tobago and the wider region.

It also noted that other CARICOM leaders are also expected to travel to hold bilateral talks with the US.

Public Utilities Minister Colm Imbert will act as Prime Minister until Mr Young returns.
