T&T Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley will attend Thursday’s meeting between the Presidents of Guyana and Venezuela.
The Office of the Prime Minister says the discussion on matters related to the Essequibo border dispute was borne out of a decision taken at an Emergency CARICOM meeting last Friday.
The meeting is being held in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Venezuela has laid claim to the land of the Essequibo, which constitutes around two-thirds of Guyana, however Guyana says this goes against an 1899 award of the land to what was then British Guiana.
The matter was taken by Guyana to the International Court of Justice.
