Today, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley took to Facebook to share images of his 2019 filings to the Integrity Commission.
This follows what he says is “persistent misrepresentation” regarding his purchase of property at Shirvan Road in Tobago.
The UNC has raised questions about the property and its declaration to the Integrity Commission, while a recent newspaper article claimed the Commission had determined that Dr Rowley was in breach of the Integrity in Public Life Act when he omitted to declare the purchase.
In his post today, the PM maintained that Form B, which is open to the public for scrutiny, required no details about a townhouse.
Instead, he said such a section is included in Form A, which is usually confidential.
Dr Rowley said he chose to share extracts from Form A in order to refute the “lies” that he says are being published and fostered.
The documents posted do list the Shirvan Road property.
