Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley says the Dragon Gas deal is expected to be the first of many with Venezuela.

He also insisted that the deal had nothing to do with politics.

Dr Rowley spoke during a media briefing this afternoon, one day after Government announced that T&T had officially secured the licence to exploit the Dragon Gas field.

Dr Rowley also explained why he believes the deal is a good one for the people of T&T.
