Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley was at the Pentagon yesterday to meet with US Deputy Under Secretary of Defense Melissa Dalton.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister, discussions focused on areas such as defence cooperation, border security, partnership with the Delaware National Guard, cyber-defense and cyber-security and regional maritime interdiction.

Also at the meeting were:  US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Western Hemisphere Daniel Erikson, T&T’s Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Amery Browne, T&T’s Energy Minister Stuart Young and Chief of Defence Staff of the T&T Defence Force, Air Vice-Marshal Darryl Daniel.

Yesterday evening, Dr Rowley also met with CIA Director William Burns at the organization’s Langley Headquarters in Virginia.
