Prime Minister Stuart Young today received a courtesy call from Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy, Dr Jenifer Neidhart de Ortiz.

The engagement comes ahead of Mr Young’s travel to Jamaica tomorrow, where he will meet with U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister says this morning’s talks centred on continuing to deepen the bilateral relationship between T&T and the United States.

Also present were Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Amery Browne, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy Charlie Franta and Political-Economic Chief at the U.S. Embassy Scott Hansen.
