Despite the global uncertainty about 2024, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley says there are hopeful signs at home.
In his New Year’s message, Dr Rowley says citizens must note that world events have the potential to affect the country.
However, he assures that despite the COVID pandemic, there was a return to growth of three percent in the first quarter of 2023, good performance in the non-energy sector and an uptick in employment.
Looking ahead to 2024, the PM says there will be a number of initiatives rolled out, including in the health sector and relating to the standard of living.
