Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley insists his Government has nothing to hide, and will be upfront with the population regarding any decisions.

His statement comes in the wake of claims from Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar that Government plans to raise VAT and other taxes.

To support the claim she presented what she said was a Cabinet note from May this year.

Dr Rowley responded during today’s post-cabinet media briefing.
