Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and a contingent will travel to Washington DC today to discuss a number of matters with senior US government representatives and officials.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister, he is being accompanied by Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Dr Amery Browne, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Stuart Young, Minister of Digital Transformation, Hassel Bacchus, Minister in the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs, Renuka Sagramsingh-Sooklal and Defence Force Chief of Defence Staff, Air Vice-Marshal Darryl Daniel.
Discussions will focus on energy, commerce, cybersecurity, diplomacy, and other issues relevant to T&T citizens.
Finance Minister Colm Imbert will act as Prime Minister in Dr Rowley’s absence.
