The Praedial Larceny Squad has arrested four persons for stealing coconuts in Manzanilla.

The men were caught on Friday, as they were allegedly loading coconuts from an estate into a vehicle.

They were subsequently charged with larceny of over 200 coconuts.

Meanwhile, in a summary shared on social media, the PLS says it patrolled 33 farming communities in different parts of Trinidad over the weekend.

During this time, officers visited 773 farms and interviewed 46 farmers.

The PLS says it also visited nine markets and stopped and searched 57 vehicles in various road exercises.
