Members of the public are being advised of a bushfire along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway west of the Beetham Landfill.

The notice comes from SWMCOL which says the blaze is not in its jurisdiction.

It adds that the Fire Service has been contacted to render assistance.

Commuters are advised to exercise caution, and especially those who live in close proximity to the fire.
