Tomorrow, Pennelope Beckles-Robinson will receive her instruments of appointment to serve as Opposition Leader.

Mrs Beckles-Robinson was unanimously selected for the role by the PNM’s MPs last Wednesday following the party’s defeat in the 2025 General Elections.

She will be the first female Opposition Leader from the PNM.

The swearing-in is due to take place from 3pm.
