Residents in parts of Penal are continuing to battle locusts.

103.1FM News understands the insects have been affecting Wilson Road and several surrounding areas.

They were first reported earlier this month, and video from one resident shows large numbers covering the side of a house.

Penal has seen a fair number of swarming incidents in the past, with the most recent taking place last year.
