A 34-year-old labourer was killed at his home in Batchyia Trace, Penal last night.

Brandon Harripersad was in the garage around 10:45pm, when he reportedly shouted out, “Allyuh they come to kill meh.”

Several loud explosions were heard, after which two armed men stormed the house, demanding cash, jewellery, and the keys to a vehicle, which they used to make their escape.

Harripersad was later found on the ground in the front yard.

Another man who was in the house at the time of the incident was also shot and has since received treatment.
