Pakistan have picked up a much needed win, beating Canada by 7-wickets in New York today.
Aaron Johnson was the only point of resistance, making 52 as Canada put on 106/7 batting first.
Mohammad Amir and Haris Rauf grabbed two wickets each.
In reply, Pakistan were led to 107/3, with an unbeaten 53 from Mohammad Rizwan and 33 from captain Babar Azam.
The victory keep’s Pakistan’s trophy hopes alive, lifting them above Canada in Group A.
While both have two points each, Pakistan is ahead by virtue of a better Net Run Rate.
