The Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union says over the last three weeks, it signed off on collective agreements for workers at five companies.

They are Yara Trinidad Limited, Damus Limited, Trintoc Penal Credit Union, Bristow Trinidad Ltd and Pricesmart Ltd.

The agreements will ensure pay increases for various collective bargaining periods, ranging from 2017 to 2025.

Some also confirm retroactive payment of Cost-of-Living Allowance (COLA).

The OWTU says it is also in negotiations to sign other agreements, though no further details were given.
