Over $10 million worth of narcotics have been seized in Point Fortin.
In January 2024, the TTPS received information on the activities of a drug trafficking network.
Following extensive investigations, police conducted an operation yesterday, during which time they identified a key suspect and two locations where the illegal items were believed to be stashed.
At an apartment in Cap de Ville, officers seized: – 262 grams of powdered cocaine valued at approximately $365,207.04; 421 grams of crack cocaine valued at $195,613.44, and 93.64 kilograms of high-grade Colombian cannabis valued at $10,276,709.08.
Additionally, officers seized a magazine containing 15 rounds of ammunition at a residence located on Pundit Street, Point Fortin.
The total estimated street value of the narcotics seized is $10,837,529.56.
