Over 100 seniors between the age of 55 and 92 took part in an ICT Vacation Camp hosted by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
Held from August 5th to August 9th at 14 ICT Access Centres, the initiative taught persons how to use smartphones and tablets, make video calls, participate in online meetings, and conduct online research.
The camp also introduced essential topics such as cybersecurity, providing tips on how to safely and effectively explore the internet.
The Ministry says 66 participants have already registered for WeLearnTT, which is its Digital Skills Development Programme.
They join over 4,150 persons others who have accessed WeLearnTT since its launch in November 2023.
