The Opposition says it will mobilize constituents to highlight the plight of those who have not been receiving a steady water supply in parts of Central and South Trinidad.
Last Friday, the House Speaker denied a Parliamentary motion brought by Princes Town MP Barry Padarath to urge the government to address the issue.
Mr Padarath told 103.1FM News today that the intention is to conduct peaceful protests and meet with the relevant officials.
Meanwhile, following an electrical problem at the Pt Lisas Desalination Plant on September 3rd, Mr Padarath said many areas are yet to receive a regular supply.
The Princes Town MP said the Opposition will raise the issue again in a subsequent Parliament sitting.
