The Opposition Leader has written to the Prime Minister requesting that government invites independent observers for the next General Election.

Speaking last night at the UNC’s Cottage Meeting in Chaguanas, Mrs Kamla Persad-Bissessar explained that the letter urges the PM to issue invites to a number of international observer bodies.

The letter will be delivered sometime today as the PM only returned from abroad yesterday.
