The Opposition Leader says the previous US government was focused on pushing a woke agenda and was a disaster for the country and the world.

She made this statement in a message congratulating newly sworn-in President Donald Trump.

Mrs Persad-Bissessar believes the agenda of the Biden administration, among other things, offended basic common sense, fueled wars around the world, and increased nepotism, corruption, crime, poverty, homelessness and wealth inequality.

She said she anticipates significant and dramatic changes in international cooperation, diplomacy, foreign affairs, and bilateral relations.
