Persons applying for non-immigrant U.S. visas now have the option to pay their application fees online.

The option, effective immediately, was announced today by the U.S. Embassy.

It says after creating an online profile at ais.usvisa-info.com/en-tt/niv, applicants will access the payment page, where they can select either the cash payment option at a Scotiabank branch or an online payment using a valid credit card.

Payments by credit card will be confirmed immediately.

Applicants can then move forward to schedule an interview or register to send documents.
