The National Transformation Alliance says it remains committed to responsible political behaviour.

This statement follows the withdrawal of the UNC from the Council for Responsible Political Behaviour, led by Dr Bishnu Ragoonath.

The NTA believes, despite what it calls the punitive authority of the council, the body serves as a platform to establish a baseline of decorum, respect and accountability in political discourse.
