By the end of today, it would be known whether Opposition Leader Penelope Beckles will run unopposed for the post of Political Leader of the PNM.

Today is the party’s nomination day for its internal elections, which is carded for June 22nd.

There is interest as to whether any other party member will be vying for the top position.

The contenders for all other 15 positions will also be locked in when nomination documents are submitted by 5pm.
