The upcoming Independence Day Military Parade 2023 will result in noise disruptions in parts of Port of Spain.

The National Security Ministry says there will be rehearsals on August 23rd at Nelson Mandela Park, and at Queen’s Park Savannah on August 28th, from 6:15 am to 9:30 am on both days.

There will also be a dress rehearsal on August 29th at Queen’s Park Savannah from 6:15 am to 9:30 am.

The Ministry says there will be noise from the music bands and pyrotechnics will be used for the “gun salute” for the rehearsals and parade, which takes place from 6:15 am to 9:30 am on Independence Day, August 31st.
