A 50-year-old man has been denied bail after appearing in court charged with sexual offences against a 12-year-old girl.

Police say the man is accused of one count of sexual touching and three counts of sexual penetration of a child.

He was arrested after investigations into allegations that a woman’s boyfriend was having sexual intercourse with her daughter over a period of time.

The court matter has been adjourned to August 10th, 2023.
