The National Insurance Board of T&T experienced a ransomware attack on Boxing Day.

In a public notice, it notes that all of its offices will be closed for the rest of the week as systems are assessed.

NIB says steps are being taken to protect its data integrity and technology hardware.

The incident has been reported to the T&T Cyber Security Incident Response Team under the National Security Ministry.
