T&T cyclist Makaira Wallace has set a new national record of 10.874 seconds in the Flying 200 at the Junior Track World Championships.

SporTT says she faced a tough 1/8 finals of the Women’s Sprint and just missed out on the quarterfinals by two hundredths of a second.

She will next be involved in the Keirin event.
