A Board of Directors has been appointed for the Estate Management and Business Development Company Limited.

It includes Rahendra Seemungal, Lester Chariah and Darren Garner as directors.

Letters of appointment were distributed yesterday by Agriculture Minister Ravi Ratiram and Minister in the Ministry Saddam Hosein, however Mr Garner will receive his letter at a subsequent date.

The EMBD is a government-owned entity dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and productivity of land development and management in T&T.

It is responsible for managing both residential and agricultural lands, and aims to ensure sustainable land use practices that contribute to the nation’s food security.
