Nearly 18,000 students registered to write 2025 SEA Exam

Nearly 18,000 primary school students are registered to write tomorrow’s Secondary Entrance Assessment Exam.

According to a Ministry official, with 540 centres prepared to facilitate the exam.

It is scheduled to begin at 8:30AM, with actual exam time expected to be 3 hours and 20 mins.

Education Minister Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly offered words of encouragement, reminding students that this is just the beginning of their education journey and does not determine their worth.

Meanwhile, Mrs Kamla Persad Bissessar also offered words of encouragement to SEA students.

She is calling on the Education Minister to enforce a noise-free zone around these SEA centres for students sit the exam in relative peace.

The Opposition Leader is also appealing for increased security for schools in crime hot spot areas.
