A depleted T&T squad nearly defended their way to a goalless draw against USA in the first-leg quarter final of the Nation’s League last night.

But it didn’t end that way, with Ricardo Pepi, Antonee Robinson and Gio Reyna all scoring in the last 10 minutes of regular time to secure a 3-0 win for the US.

T&T played a lot of the game with 10 men, after Noah Powder received a red card in the 37th minute of play.

The match took place in Texas, with the return leg to be played at the Hasely Crawford Stadium on Monday.
