National Security Minister takes aim at Roger Alexander

National Security Minister Marvin Gonzales has presumably taken aim at former TTPS officer Roger Alexander, saying he did not deserve to have a badge.

During the reopening of the San Rafael Police Station today, Mr Gonzales said he found recent comments by Mr Alexander to be “dishonourable”.

However, he stopped short of calling Mr Alexander’s name.

Mr Alexander handed in his resignation shortly before being announced as the UNC’s candidate for Tunapuna.

He subsequently criticized the resources available to the TTPS to fight crime, claiming they were still using technology “from 1812 to 1946”.
