A 25-year-old man was shot dead in Cunupia last night.

A 32-year-old woman was also wounded in the incident.

According to reports, the shooting occurred around 7pm at Maraj Trace, Chin Chin Road.

The deceased has been identified as Sherlon Williams.

Meanwhile investigations are continuing into the murder of a businessman in Chaguanas last night.

According to Newsday, Kelvin Mohammed was shot dead around 8pm while closing up his Ice-Cream Shop on Crown Trace, Enterprise.
