A 30-year-old bartender was shot dead in Morvant last night.

Around 7:38pm, loud explosions and a crash were heard at Never Dirty.

Shaquille Prosper was subsequently found slumped inside an orange Nissan Almera, with gunshot wounds to the head.

Meanwhile police are investigating the murder of a 40-year-old man in Sangre Grande.

The incident occurred last night as Dwight Badall was liming with others at Express Mini Mart at the corner of Graham Street and Foster Road.

Around 8:50pm an armed assailant exited a silver Nissan Almera and shot Badall several times before escaping.

The victim died at the scene.
