Police are investigating murders in Sangre Grande and Cocorite.

According to reports, 27-year-old Tyrell Alvarez was shot in the head shortly after midnight today at his home on Bailey Avenue, Northeastern Settlement.

He was taken to hospital where he later died.

Meanwhile, 47-year-old Avid Reece of Upper Cocorite Terrace was shot dead in his home around 8:30 last night.

The victim was said to be a URP foreman.
